WPRA’s Community Service Award recipients from 2009 to the present

The WPRA Community Service Award is given to members of our community who have made a significant contribution to our community, focusing on issues and service affecting our WPRA territory.

The Dorothy Lindsey Community Service Award is a higher order given to members of our community for dedicated service covering a number of issues over a period of many years, where the commitment of personal time and effort has been extraordinary and the individual’s personal leadership on issues has been a major factor in addressing those issues. It is named in honor of the late Dorothy Lindsey, who, as President of the WPRA and in many other roles, exhibited all those characteristics and more in her efforts to enhance the character of our community and improve the quality of life in west Pasadena and beyond.
